I’m Rois Ramani, a student, writer, and passionate food critic who brings curiosity, culture, and creativity to every plate. Whether I’m reviewing a hidden gem restaurant, exploring everything the world has to offer, or analyzing global issues through writing and sport, I bring a unique lens to everything I do.

My Story

My journey started in Illinois, where I’ve balanced a love for academics, athletics, and advocacy. I’m a finalist in the prestigious John Locke Essay Competition, the youngest player selected for Chicago House AC’s U23 soccer team, and the founder of the Give & Go Foundation — an initiative to make youth sports more accessible. My work reflects a commitment to excellence, equity, and expression.

Food writing is a recent adventure, but one that quickly found a loyal audience. My restaurant reviews combine sharp critique with warmth and personal insight. Through Bites with Rois, I explore flavors, stories, and the cultures behind each bite.
