Krafted Burger Bar + Tap: A Regrettable Memory

A recent visit to Krafted Burger Bar + Tap in Bolingbrook was an experience best forgotten. From the moment of entry, it was evident that the visit would not meet expectations. The first red flag was the waitress, who exhibited a shocking lack of cleanliness. She was observed eating and putting her fingers in her mouth right before serving food. This behavior was not only off-putting but also raised serious concerns about hygiene and food safety.

The food itself was a major letdown. Starting with the French onion dip, it was so salty it was nearly inedible. It seemed like an overzealous hand with the saltshaker had ruined what could have been a decent appetizer. Moving on to the main course, the Plain ol’ burger was ordered with hopes of a simple yet satisfying meal. Unfortunately, it was incredibly average and lacked any distinct flavor or quality. The burger patty was bland, and the overall presentation was uninspired. None of the items ordered stood out or made a positive impression.

What made the experience even worse was the excruciatingly slow service. Despite being one of the only tables in the restaurant, the food and drinks took forever to arrive. It was baffling and frustrating, especially considering the lack of a crowd. Prompt service was expected given the empty dining room, but instead, there was a long wait, leading to thoughts that the order had been forgotten. When the food finally did arrive, it was clear that the long wait had not been justified by the quality of the dishes.

In summary, the visit to Krafted Burger Bar + Tap was a disappointment from start to finish. The uncleanliness of the waitress, the excessively salty French onion dip, the utterly average Plain ol’ burger, and the painfully slow service combined to create an overall unpleasant dining experience. This restaurant would not be recommended to anyone looking for a satisfying meal or a pleasant dining atmosphere. It’s safe to say a return visit will not be happening anytime soon.
